WHEN IS THE EMMERDALE VILLAGE TOUR OPEN?

The Emmerdale Village Tour is located on a live working set, as such our opening hours can vary depending on the production schedule.
For the most accurate opening times, please head to our ‘Book Now’ page for all the up to date tour times and availability.
We reserve the right to withdraw a date from sale, subject to demand or production schedules.

HOW DO I BOOK A FREE CARER TICKET?

You will see from the list of available ticket types, you are able to select adult or child + free carer ticket. If you have purchased a gift voucher, you are also able to do this once you have redeemed your tickets through our website. Simply add a free carer ticket on the ‘add on’ page once you have selected your date and time slot. Please do remember to take your proof of carer status with you otherwise this may result in refusal to the attraction.

We accept:

  • Proof of government benefit (such as DLA, PIP or carers allowance)
  • Blue badge
  • Carers card

You will receive a carer specific email with all you need to know upon booking your tickets.

If you need more than two carers tickets per booking, please email info@emmerdalevillagetour.co.uk.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY BOOKING?

Yes, you are able to reschedule your tickets at no cost providing it’s not within 48 hours of your visit. If you decide to reschedule your ticket within 48 hours of your time, there will be a £5 administration fee. You will need to create an account to be able to reschedule your booking. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO VISIT?

The Guided Tour tickets are priced from £35.00 per person. Please note at peak times throughout the year, the price does increase to £38 per adult.

Star Tour ticket is priced at £55 per person.

THE DATE I WANT ISN’T AVAILABLE ON THE BOOKING PAGE

There could be a number of reasons for this: The full experience and Star Tours only operate on select weekends and bank holidays due to the demands of the production.
We release tickets periodically throughout the year, so you may also be looking too far ahead where tickets have not been released yet. We strongly recommend you sign up to our email alerts so we can drop you an email to let you know once new dates are released.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GUIDED TOURS TICKETS AND STAR TOURS TICKETS?

The Guided Tour tickets are available weekends and bank holidays only, which involves a guided tour of the show’s external set as well as transport to and from our designated meeting point. There is no opportunity to meet a member of the cast at the end of your Emmerdale Village.

Our Star Tours are available on select weekends and include a meet and greet with a cast member, a guided tour of the show’s external set as well as transport to and from our designated meeting point.

We do not offer any tours of the show’s interior sets.

DO I NEED TO PRE-BOOK WITH A VOUCHER?

All vouchers need to be redeemed for a specific date/time on the website. We cannot guarantee availability on the day.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY GIFT VOUCHERS?

  • Choose date and time you would like to attend, click book now.

HOW LONG ARE VOUCHERS VALID FOR?

Any vouchers purchased directly through us are valid for twelve months from date of purchase. Your visit must take place before the expiry date on the voucher.

If you have a third party voucher, you will need to contact the vendor directly regarding this.

CAN I EXTEND MY VOUCHERS?

Any vouchers purchased directly through us are only extended in exceptional circumstances and we retain absolute discretion as to whether a voucher will be extended. Your visit must take place before the expiry date on the voucher. Your validity period includes January and other closures.

CAN YOU SEND MY VOUCHER IN THE POST?

All our vouchers are digital and are sent as email attachments which can be printed out. We unfortunately do not send any vouchers out physically.

MY VOUCHER WON'T WORK OR WON'T LET ME BOOK A DATE

If your voucher doesn’t work, please check the expiry date. All visits must take place before the expiry date shown on the voucher.

DO YOU HAVE CHILD TICKETS AVAILABLE?

We don’t have child tickets currently available, this is because of limited capacities on the coach.

Under 4s go free – these are added later in the booking process. After you have selected the date/time, you will be prompted to add any under 4s. However, don’t worry if you forget to do this/don’t see this option, we will admit any under 4s on the day for free.

DO YOU OFFER A NHS/BLUELIGHT DISCOUNT?

Yes, we offer a 15% discount for all Bluelight holders and NHS workers. This discount is bookable using the code ‘ BLEVT15’ for  standard tours and is subject to availability.

Please note our check in team will ask to see your work ID on the date of your visit.

IS THE EMMERDALE VILLAGE TOUR ACCESSIBLE FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS?

There are some uneven surfaces on the tour that might be challenging for wheelchair users. The – 80 minute outdoor tour covers rough terrain, gradients, slopes and grass.

Wheelchair users are advised to utilise sturdy, thick-wheeled chairs due to the uneven ground of the site. We do suggest that manual wheelchair users are likely to need to bring a personal assistant with them as a result of the uneven terrain, and guests who use either a wheelchair or a mobility scooters would need to be capable of passing through a standard door opening. Assistance in manoeuvring any wheelchairs or mobility scooters cannot be provided by tour staff.

CAN I STILL GO ON A TOUR IF I USE A WHEELCHAIR/MOBILITY SCOOTER?

You are more than welcome to do so. To advise, the 80-minute outdoor tour can present challenges in places, and covers rough terrain, gradients, and grass. Manual wheelchair users may need to be accompanied by an assistant. For full details on eligibility please see our full access statement.

CAN I HIRE A WHEELCHAIR OR A MOBILITY SCOOTER FOR THE TOUR?

We do not have any wheelchairs or mobility scooters available for hire on site.

WHERE IS EMMERDALE VILLAGE?

The Emmerdale Village Tour is a private location located just outside Leeds. We will collect you from the designated meeting point location: Weetwood Hall Hotel – please refer to meeting point information for more details, and take you via a coach transfer to the Emmerdale Village set.

IS THERE ANY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO OUR MEETING POINTS?

There is limited public transport to our meeting point: Weetwood Hall Hotel

To get to Weetwood Hall Hotel, you can go with the following options:

By Train: The best train station to use is Leeds train station.

By Bus:  From Leeds City Centre,  there are bus No. 1, 6 or 8 that can take you to the Lawnswood High School. It’s directly opposite to WeetWood Hall Hotel.

WHERE IS THE PARKING & MEETING POINT FOR DEPART FROM WEETWOOD HALL HOTEL?

Tours will depart from Weetwood Hall Hotel on the dates listed below (Parking location; Weetwood Hall Hotel, Otley Rd, Weetwood, Leeds LS16 5PS)

 

WHY IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL 50P CHARGE FOR PARKING AT WEETWOOD HALL HOTEL?

Please note that a 50p per person levy will be added to the cost of your ticket price. This small charge covers the use of parking throughout your tour duration but also exclusively provides each Emmerdale Village Tour guest a 10% discount off all food and drinks. Not only are we able to provide a discount on food and drink but also on room rates should you wish to stay over. Should you wish to book a room or table in the restaurants in advance, please call Weetwood Hall directly on 0133 230 6000 and provide your Emmerdale Village Tour Booking reference number to activate your exclusive discount.

Please note: upon arrival to the car park, follow the Emmerdale Village Tour signs, park your vehicle in an available spot. Once parked you will be required to enter your vehicle registration at one of the 12 terminals situated in and around the hotel. This will give you a virtual permit. Failure to do so will result in an automated fine so please ensure this is done upon arrival.

CAN I HAVE A SIGNED PICTURE OF A CAST MEMBER?

The tours are operated by Continuum Attractions and are not connected to the production of the show. Unfortunately, we are unable to help with these requests or queries and may be unable to respond to show-specific questions. If you are booked on to a Star Tour, cast members are happy to sign your guidebooks for you.

WHERE CAN I SEND FEEDBACK ABOUT THE SHOW AND THE STORYLINES?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON SUSTAINABILITY?

We are committed to making the tour sustainable and operate in accordance with our Sustainability Policy and Responsible Sourcing Policy. Highlights include providing British Sign Language tours, supporting local businesses and operating controls to ensure supply chain operations are respectful of human rights.

WHICH CAST MEMBER WILL I MEET ON MY STAR TOUR?

You will meet a surprise cast member during your tour and have the chance to have your photograph taken with them on your own device.

Due to the actors’ busy schedules, we cannot guarantee any specific cast member on any specific day, nor are we able to take any requests.

CAN I PAY WITH CASH IN THE VILLAGE?

We do not accept cash. It is card only.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Yes! You need to pre-book as popular time slots sell out very quickly. We do not accept walk-up bookings therefore pre-booking guarantees your tour time and date.

If you happen to be in the vicinity of Weetwood Hall Estate, please check our online booking calendar for any last-minute availability.

IS THE EXPERIENCE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

Whilst we welcome children, this is an approximately 3 hours visit which includes an 80-minute fully-guided tour with around 5,000 steps. Therefore, you may wish to consider whether the tour is suitable for your children.

IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN LEAVE MY BAGS?

Unfortunately, we do not have a secure space for guests to leave luggage or additional bags. We would recommend leaving these at your hotel, or if travelling by public transport, there are luggage facilities at Leeds Train Station. Due to visiting working sets, there are strict security guidelines regarding bags which can be found here.

WILL MY BAG BE CHECKED WHEN I VISIT?

For their safety and security, all visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched before entry.

CAN I BRING MY DOG ON THE TOUR?

We only allow assistance dogs on the tour.

IS THERE A CAFÉ & GIFT SHOP?

Yes, we offer hot & cold drinks and light snacks at the start and end of the tour, sold from within our Visitor Centre.

We also have a fantastic gift shop where you can browse our range of official Emmerdale merchandise, unique gifts and memorabilia. Unfortunately, we are unable to send any of the items in the gift shop by post. You can also visit the Emmerdale section of the official ITV Shop to see our tote bags, aprons and reusable cups – as seen on TV

DO YOU PROVIDE HOTEL ACCOMMODATION?

Although we do not provide overnight accommodation, there are a variety of lovely places to stay in Leeds including Weetwood Hall Hotel where Emmerdale Village Tour guests are offered a discounted rate. Please note, this discount is only applicable a night either side of your tour date.

WILL I GET TO VISIT THE INTERIOR SETS ON MY TOUR?

Unfortunately, due to interior filming taking place at a different location, miles away from the village, we’re unable to show you inside the studios. We do however often take guests inside the church interior set. This is not guaranteed and is subject to filming requirements.

ARE THERE ANY ICONIC CHARACTER HOMES I WON’T GET TO SEE ON MY EMMERDALE VILLAGE TOUR?

Unfortunately, both Dingles Farm & Pollard’s are located out of bounds from the tour. As a result, we do not have permission to take guests to these external sets. Please accept our apologies for this.

DO ITV RUN ANY OTHER TOURS OR ATTRACTIONS?

Yes! You can visit the Coronation Street set at The Coronation Street Experience in Manchester.

HOW DOES THE CORONATION STREET AND EMMERDALE PACKAGE WORK?

The Coronation Street Experience and Emmerdale Village Tour package deal is an exciting way to visit both of our attractions.

When booking this, you will be prompted to select a date/time for the Emmerdale Village Tour. You will then be sent voucher codes for the Coronation Street, which will be valid for one year from date of purchase.

You do not need to take both of these tours on the same day and we do not offer any transport between the two sites.

WHEN ARE THE NEXT SET OF DATES GOING LIVE/CAN I BOOK A TOUR ON A DATE NOT YET RELEASED?

Due to hectic filming schedules and to avoid the need for tour cancellations, tickets are released in phases. However, to be one of the first to know when tickets go on sale please sign up to our newsletter.

HOW DO I VISIT IF I'M UNABLE TO USE THE COACH TRANSFER?

HOW CAN I BOOK A FREE CARER TICKET?

You will see from the list of available ticket types, you are able to select adult or child + free carer ticket. If you have purchased a gift voucher, you are also able to do this once you have redeemed your tickets through our website. Simply add a free carer ticket on the ‘add on’ page once you have selected your date and time slot. Please do remember to take your proof of carer status with you otherwise this may result in refusal to the attraction.

We accept:

  • Proof of government benefit (such as DLA, PIP or carers allowance)
  • Blue badge
  • Carers card

You will receive a carer specific email with all you need to know upon booking your tickets.

If you need more than two carers tickets per booking, please email info@emmerdalevillagetour.co.uk.

CAN I STILL GO ON A TOUR IF I USE A WHEELCHAIR/MOBILITY SCOOTER?

You are more than welcome to do so. To advise, the 80-minute outdoor tour can present challenges in places, and covers rough terrain, gradients, and grass. Manual wheelchair users may need to be accompanied by an assistant. For full details on eligibility please see our full access statement.

CAN I HIRE A WHEELCHAIR OR A MOBILITY SCOOTER FOR THE TOUR?

We do not have any wheelchairs or mobility scooters available for hire on site.

WHERE IS EMMERDALE VILLAGE?

The Emmerdale Village Tour is a private location located just outside Leeds. We will collect you from the designated meeting point location: Weetwood Hall Hotel – please refer to meeting point information for more details, and take you via a coach transfer to the Emmerdale Village set.

IS THERE ANY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO OUR MEETING POINTS?

There is limited public transport to our meeting point: Weetwood Hall Hotel

To get to Weetwood Hall Hotel, you can go with the following options:

By Train: The best train station to use is Leeds train station.

By Bus:  From Leeds City Centre,  there are bus No. 1, 6 or 8 that can take you to the Lawnswood High School. It’s directly opposite to WeetWood Hall Hotel.

WHY IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL 50P CHARGE FOR PARKING AT WEETWOOD HALL HOTEL?

Please note that a 50p per person levy will be added to the cost of your ticket price. This small charge covers the use of parking throughout your tour duration but also exclusively provides each Emmerdale Village Tour guest a 10% discount off all food and drinks. Not only are we able to provide a discount on food and drink but also on room rates should you wish to stay over. Should you wish to book a room or table in the restaurants in advance, please call Weetwood Hall directly on 0133 230 6000 and provide your Emmerdale Village Tour Booking reference number to activate your exclusive discount.

Please note: upon arrival to the car park, follow the Emmerdale Village Tour signs, park your vehicle in an available spot. Once parked you will be required to enter your vehicle registration at one of the 12 terminals situated in and around the hotel. This will give you a virtual permit. Failure to do so will result in an automated fine so please ensure this is done upon arrival.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON SUSTAINABILITY?

We are committed to making the tour sustainable and operate in accordance with our Sustainability Policy and Responsible Sourcing Policy. Highlights include providing British Sign Language tours, supporting local businesses and operating controls to ensure supply chain operations are respectful of human rights.

WHICH CAST MEMBER WILL I MEET ON MY STAR TOUR?

You will meet a surprise cast member during your tour and have the chance to have your photograph taken with them on your own device.

Due to the actors’ busy schedules, we cannot guarantee any specific cast member on any specific day, nor are we able to take any requests.

CAN I PAY WITH CASH IN THE VILLAGE?

We do not accept cash. It is card only.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Yes! You need to pre-book as popular time slots sell out very quickly. We do not accept walk-up bookings therefore pre-booking guarantees your tour time and date.

If you happen to be in the vicinity of Weetwood Hall Estate, please check our online booking calendar for any last-minute availability.

IS THE EXPERIENCE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

Whilst we welcome children, this is an approximately 3 hours visit which includes an 80-minute fully-guided tour with around 5,000 steps. Therefore, you may wish to consider whether the tour is suitable for your children.

IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN LEAVE MY BAGS?

Unfortunately, we do not have a secure space for guests to leave luggage or additional bags. We would recommend leaving these at your hotel, or if travelling by public transport, there are luggage facilities at Leeds Train Station. Due to visiting working sets, there are strict security guidelines regarding bags which can be found here.

WILL MY BAG BE CHECKED WHEN I VISIT?

For their safety and security, all visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched before entry.

CAN I BRING MY DOG ON THE TOUR?

We only allow assistance dogs on the tour.

IS THERE A CAFÉ & GIFT SHOP?

Yes, we offer hot & cold drinks and light snacks at the start and end of the tour, sold from within our Visitor Centre.

We also have a fantastic gift shop where you can browse our range of official Emmerdale merchandise, unique gifts and memorabilia. Unfortunately, we are unable to send any of the items in the gift shop by post. You can also visit the Emmerdale section of the official ITV Shop to see our tote bags, aprons and reusable cups – as seen on TV

DO YOU PROVIDE HOTEL ACCOMMODATION?

Although we do not provide overnight accommodation, there are a variety of lovely places to stay in Leeds including Weetwood Hall Hotel where Emmerdale Village Tour guests are offered a discounted rate. Please note, this discount is only applicable a night either side of your tour date.

WILL I GET TO VISIT THE INTERIOR SETS ON MY TOUR?

Unfortunately, due to interior filming taking place at a different location, miles away from the village, we’re unable to show you inside the studios. We do however often take guests inside the church interior set. This is not guaranteed and is subject to filming requirements.

ARE THERE ANY ICONIC CHARACTER HOMES I WON’T GET TO SEE ON MY EMMERDALE VILLAGE TOUR?

Unfortunately, both Dingles Farm & Pollard’s are located out of bounds from the tour. As a result, we do not have permission to take guests to these external sets. Please accept our apologies for this.

DO ITV RUN ANY OTHER TOURS OR ATTRACTIONS?

Yes! You can visit the Coronation Street set at The Coronation Street Experience in Manchester.

HOW DOES THE CORONATION STREET AND EMMERDALE PACKAGE WORK?

The Coronation Street Experience and Emmerdale Village Tour package deal is an exciting way to visit both of our attractions.

When booking this, you will be prompted to select a date/time for the Emmerdale Village Tour. You will then be sent voucher codes for the Coronation Street, which will be valid for one year from date of purchase.

You do not need to take both of these tours on the same day and we do not offer any transport between the two sites.

WHEN ARE THE NEXT SET OF DATES GOING LIVE/CAN I BOOK A TOUR ON A DATE NOT YET RELEASED?

Due to hectic filming schedules and to avoid the need for tour cancellations, tickets are released in phases. However, to be one of the first to know when tickets go on sale please sign up to our newsletter.

HOW MANY WILL BE IN OUR TOUR GROUP?

Our tour groups are limited to a maximum of 50 people. This ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.
