The Emmerdale Village Tour is BACK! Running on selected weekends in 2021, escape to the Yorkshire Dales and go behind the scenes of your favourite soap.
 

Can I pay with Cash in the Village?


We are now Cashless
If you’re wanting to purchase a refreshment on your visit or even grab one of David’s Shop Bags, we are no longer accepting cash so be sure to bring a credit or debit card with you.

Where can I park / nearest car park?

Due to the closed set location, your journey will being outside The New Inn Pub, Eccup Lane, Leeds, LS16 8AU.
You'll be able to park your car at The New Inn free of charge. Here you'll also board your complimentary coach transfer which will transport you to a secure area located within the Harewood Estate.

How long is the tour / visit?

Please allow approximately 2 hours for your visit. This will include your complimentary coach transfers to and from the meeting point at The New Inn.
Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your coach is due to depart. 

Where is Emmerdale Village?

Your visit with us will start at The New Inn pub which is located on Eccup Lane and is just a few minutes away from the village tour.
The address is The New Inn, Eccup Lane, Leeds, LS16 8AU. From there you will be transported to the village via coach. 

 

DO YOU PROVIDE FREE ADMISSION FOR REGISTERED CARERS?



Yes, we do offer for free admission for registered carers with the purchase of a full paying adult ticket. These types of bookings cannot be made online, so please email us at info@emmerdalevillagetour.co.uk

HOW DO I REDEEM MY GIFT VOUCHERS? 

You will shortly recieve an email from our team giving you access to redeem your gift vouchers or re-book your postponed tickets online.

If you experience any issues redeeming your vouchers, please email info@emmerdalevillagetour.co.uk with the following details: 
- the type of voucher you would like to redeem
- the unique voucher code
- the issue date
- the date and time you would ideally like to visit (all our available dates are currently on our website)
 

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE? 

Yes! To avoid disappointment we recommend prebooking as we sell out many popular time slots. Prebooking in advance guarantees your tour time.

How much does it cost to visit? 

 All tickets are priced at £35.00 per person. 

Is the experience suitable for children? 

Although we welcome children, this is a 90-minute fully-guided tour with around 5,000 steps. You therefore may want to consider whether the tour is suitable for your children. Regrettably, pushchairs are not allowed on the tour.

Is there anywhere I can leave my bags?

We’re sorry but there isn’t any secure space for guests to leave luggage or additional bags. We would recommend leaving these at your hotel or if you are travelling by public transport there are left luggage facilities at Leeds Train Station. Due to visiting working sets, there are strict security guidelines regarding bags which can be found here.

Will my bag be checked when I visit? 

For their safety and security, all visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched before entry.

Can a wheelchair user still go on a tour? 

The 90-minute, outdoor tour covers rough terrain, gradients, slopes and grass. Manual wheelchair users may need to bring a personal asssitant with them. We have a small number of parking spaces available at the Village for those from whom coach travel will be difficult. Can I hire a wheelchair for the tour? 

We do not offer wheelchair hire for the tour, but we are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Can I bring my dog on the tour? 

Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the tour with the exception of registered guide dogs. If you wish to visit with an assistance dog, please ensure you have formal identification for the dog with you and email or call us in advance to let us know.

Is there a cafĂ© & gift shop? 

Yes, there is a small unit at the Emmerdale Village Tour serving hot and cold drinks as well as a variety of snacks and light bites.

We also have a fantastic gift shop where you can browse our range of Emmerdale merchandise, unique gifts and memorabilia. Unfortunately, we are unable to send any of the items in the gift shop by post.

DO YOU PROVIDE HOTEL ACCOMMODATION?


Although we do not provide overnight accommodation, there are a large number of places to stay in Leeds. To help you decide on which location is right for you, please see our 'Where to Stay' blog. 
 

Is there a chance to meet any actors / cast members?

Although filming does happen at the village during the week, actors will not be present during your tour as they will be having a well earned weekend off! You will however see examples of real sets they use, and hear secrets about the production of Emmerdale.

Will I be able to have a drink in the Woolpack? 

Unfortunately 'The Woolpack' will not be open for business, but we do have a small unit serving hot and cold drinks and a variety of snacks and light bites.

Can we get married at Emmerdale Village? 

Unfortunately, we do not have a marriage licence so you cannot get married at the Emmerdale The Village Tour.

Do you have wi-fi at the Emmerdale Village Tour?

Yes, you can enjoy complimentary WiFi during your visit. We’d love for you to share your Experience with us on Twitter and Facebook!

Do you keep lost property?

We hold on to all lost property for a limited time. If you think you may have left something behind during your visit, please email us at info@emmerdalevillagetour.co.uk. Sending lost property out will be subject to postal charges (depending upon the size and weight of the package). We accept no responsibility for lost items.
