We have been following government advice in terms of preventative measures on all our tours and sites (see below for more details). Temporarily pausing operation of our tours is an additional measure to help safeguard our staff and guests
As you plan your visit to us we want to assure you that we are actively monitoring the situation with regards to Covid-19 (coronavirus) and are reviewing and following the guidelines of Public Health England.
As always, the safety and wellbeing of you, our guests, and our team is our priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s continued welfare. The advice from the health authorities has not changed, so our attractions are operating as normal and standard terms and conditions on bookings continue to apply.
However there are things we can do... read more about them here: a polite reassurance for our Guests.
Groups of 15 people or more usually qualify for a discount. Please see our groups page where you can get more information or contact our reservations team on 01904 261262.
We’re sorry but there isn’t any secure space for guests to leave luggage or additional bags. We would recommend leaving these at your hotel or if you are travelling by public transport there are left luggage facilities at Leeds Train Station. Due to visiting working sets, there are strict security guidelines regarding bags which can be found here.
The 90-minute, outdoor tour covers rough terrain, gradients, slopes and grass. Manual wheelchair users may need to bring a personal asssitant with them. We have a small number of parking spaces available at the Village for those from whom coach travel will be difficult. For full details on eligibility please see our full access statement. Please note the tour can only accommodate one wheelchair user per tour so please call us before booking on 01904 261262 to check availability. You can find out more about accessibility here.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the tour with the exception of registered guide dogs. If you wish to visit with an assistance dog, please ensure you have formal identification for the dog with you and email or call us in advance to let us know.
Yes, there is a café at the Emmerdale Village Tour serving delicious hot and cold food. A range of coffee, tea and cold drinks are available as well as a large variety of snacks and light bites… and of course some delicious cakes!
We also have a fantastic gift shop where you can browse our range of Emmerdale merchandise, unique gifts and memorabilia. Unfortunately, we are unable to send any of the items in the gift shop by post.
Although filming does happen at the village during the week, actors will not be present during your tour as they will be having a well earned weekend off! You will however see examples of real sets they use, and hear secrets about the production of Emmerdale.
Yes, you can enjoy complimentary WiFi during your visit. We’d love for you to share your Experience with us on Twitter and Facebook!
