Can I still attend the tour if I use a wheelchair or mobility scooter?

Absolutely. To advise, the 90-minute outdoor tour can present challenges in places, and covers rough terrain, gradients, and grass. Manual wheelchair users may need to be accompanied by an assistant. For full details on eligibility, please see our full accessibility statement.

There are some uneven surfaces on the tour that might be challenging for wheelchair users. The 90-minute outdoor tour covers rough terrain, gradients, slopes and grass.

Wheelchair users are advised to utilise sturdy, thick-wheeled chairs due to the uneven ground on the site. We do suggest that manual wheelchair users are likely to need to bring a personal assistant with them as a result of the uneven terrain, and guests who use either a wheelchair or a mobility scooter would need to be capable of passing through a standard door opening. Assistance in manoeuvring any wheelchairs or mobility scooters cannot be provided by tour staff.
